Here's a pic of a shooting bench that Dingus and I put our noggins together and designed and built.

The bench swivels 360 degrees and the cutout in the benchtop has a 9"x11" cake pan slid under it to hold empty brass during a shooting session.

     The swivel is made up of two pieces of pipe, one slides inside the other, the inner pipe is capped and a single 1" ball bearing is welded in the center of the cap, the outer pipe is also capped so when they are slid together the outer cap rides on the inner ball bearing.  The whole thing turns easy and can be stopped in any positon by using your feet on the foot ring on the bottom.

     The height of the bench is adjustable so different shooters can shoot comfortably.The boat seat was bought at Wally-world for around $35.00 or so.

     The whole thing breaks down into a fairly small package so as to leave more room for guns and ammo in the back of the pickup.

     We've shot off of thes a couple of times now. It's amazing how many more squirrels you can see by having a little elevation in your shooting position.Also your neck and shoulders arent as tired.(we used to do all of this prone from a bipod for two days at a time!)
